To whoever this may concern, I would just like to introduce myself and thank you for reading upon myself especially.

My name is Sam and I originally come from the Midlands in the UK, I am 24 and come from an English/Welsh background, throughout my life I have mixed with a mix of cultures, faiths and ethnicity's which has helped me grow to understand and to be curious about the world outside of my city especially.

So far in my life I have been privileged to see quite a bit of the world, in my younger years I vacationed a lot in Europe and the US, building upon my French especially, I would say this is where my passion for travelling came from as well as from my late grandfather who would tell me stories of his travels across the world in the military, as soon as I left high school I booked myself a ticket (which I had been saving for for years) and started backpacking on my own in South East Asia, this in particular was the formation of me becoming the person I am today, taking that leap and overcoming the fear and challenge as such a young kid and meeting new long lasting friends and independence.

I love cooking!! especially during the pandemic I have focused more on creating new styles of cooking and mixing cuisines to new levels! I am usually the one cooking in the house so I get quite a lot of practice at it! I love Italian and British foods which is what I cook mostly... but I do attempt asian dishes and am always curious to attempt new recipes! A lot of people slate British food for being too bland but maybe one day I can change your opinion on that.

I become an online tutor after I returned from a year long trip in late 2017 and decided that I wanted to invest a lot more time in what I can benefit others from, for me doing a TEFL at first was to see if I could pass the course, and if so.. maybe I could have the faith to go further and help expand upon it and teach children like the ones I met in rural Laos and Myanmar.

Children especially are great at learning, their brains are like sponges, they intake brilliantly to whatever environment they are exposed to, to whomever is reading this I am sure they can understand that all children have different needs and some learn at different paces, I understand totally this and believe extremely in 1 to 1 interactions and listening to the certain child's ways of understanding. Me myself as a kid remember my 5th grade teacher Mr Kilby who saw my personal struggles with certain subjects and taught me new brainstorms/ways of working out compared to the separate children in my class, even to this day I spell, do mathematical workouts and listen in the ways he taught me 1 to 1, without him I most likely would struggle to this day and I cannot thank him enough, I will always remember those things.

For me to be that Mr Kilby to a certain child especially would be heartwarming, for them to remember my ways of teaching, ways of interacting with others and teaching cooperation with all members of society would be brilliant.

After obtaining my Masters TEFL, I decided that I would start freelancing with mostly 18 year old hopeful graduates to western university's, I have helped train so far 4 students into obtaining student visas to Australia and the UK with most passing with my best student Christina, who at start was at best a Band 4 to qualifying at Band 8.

I am always trying to learn new things, just this year I am trying to go beyond beginner in Thai and Russian formal writing and speaking, get involved in mechanical engineering since I am constantly having to fix my car... but most importantly I love the outdoors, fresh air, sunshine, exercising and sports, cricket especially.

I love DIY projects, helping others especially with it...and enjoying the physical aspect, the endorphins you get from manually achieving something like that feels amazing, so if you in particular ever needed a hand in manual repair, car trouble, garden maintenance I am your guy!
