Leonie (21), alemán/a, Profesor/a actualmente en Alemania quiere ser Au Pair en Canadá

Hey,
I am Leonie, 21 years old and currently studying Primary School Teaching at the University of Leipzig. As English is one of my studied subjects, I have to go abroad for a certain time to get to know a new country and its people. Originally, I wanted to be an Au Pair ever since I was 13 years old, as I have always enjoyed babysitting and tutoring and really liked the opportunity of connecting that to seeing a new country. Sadly, I could not do it after finishing school due to Covid-19 so that´s why I am here NOW.
As mentioned, I have always enjoyed babysitting and working with children, which is also why I chose to be a Primary Teacher. I really love to be creative together with children and support their development and see them grow. I have worked with children since I was 12, starting with babysitting children of different ages, then tutoring and then starting my study obviously also including lots of internships. Due to my study I am especially confident working with children aged 5 to 10, as I simply know them best ;-) But I have also been babysitting babies and toddlers for quite some time, therefore able to work with children of any age!
