My name is Emmy, and I’m a 25-year-old creative soul originally from the U.S., currently traveling around Europe while working remotely in design and communications. I’m writing to you because I’m hoping to become your next Au Pair—and more than that, a meaningful part of your family’s day-to-day life.

I come from a big, lively family—I'm one of eight kids—so being around children has always been second nature to me. For over a decade, I’ve worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I’ve been a nanny, a babysitter, a camp counselor, and a go-to person for neighbors and friends whenever they needed help with their little ones. These years have given me a deep well of patience, creativity, and flexibility that I bring into every caregiving role.

At this point in my life, I’m seeking something more grounded and relational: a way to contribute directly to a family and be part of a household where care, connection, and presence matter. I love creating peaceful, playful environments and tend to bond easily with kids through storytelling, art, music, and gentle structure.

What I can offer your family is not just help with daily routines, but calm presence, emotional intelligence, and creativity. I’m independent but warm, respectful of boundaries but intuitive to needs. I take care of spaces and people as if they were my own, and I genuinely find joy in the kind of quiet, essential work that holds a household together.

Experiencia con niños

I’ve spent over a decade caring for children, from newborns to teenagers. I’ve worked as a nanny, a babysitter, and a mentor—and growing up as one of eight kids, caregiving has always been a natural part of my life. I understand how much energy, patience, and presence it takes to truly support a child, and I genuinely love it. Being with kids brings me back to the magic of everyday life—how curiosity, creativity, and joy can live in the simplest moments.

What draws me to becoming an Au Pair abroad is the opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture while doing something deeply meaningful. I want to contribute to a family in a real, grounded way—to help make their lives a little lighter, a little more connected. I also love the idea of cultural exchange, and believe that living in someone’s home is one of the most honest and beautiful ways to experience another country.

This experience would allow me to offer care and stability to a child or children, while also growing and learning myself. It’s not just about travel for me—it’s about human connection, everyday life, and shared experience.
