Dear host family,

My name is Ana Paula, I'm 25 years old Brazilian and a future Au Pair. I am a warm and caring nanny with 5 years experience working with babies, children and teenagers.
I also participated in social projects aimed at needy children.
I love helping families relieve the stress of everyday life by ensuring their children are cared for with lots of love and patience. Additionally, I love helping children learn and explore in a safe, nurturing, and happy environment. Arts and crafts, age-appropriate cooking, and storytelling are some of my favorite activities. I also know how to cook very well, so I am very happy to offer high-quality care to your children!
I took care of three children in a family here in Brazil, Esther aged 7, Gabriel aged 12 and Miguel aged 6, my main tasks were helping with schoolwork, preparing food, organizing the children's rooms and clothes.
I've always had the habit of taking the children to the park on Thursdays to play and do some outdoor sports.
Esther is a super smart and sweet girl, one of the things we loved to do together was make homemade cookies in the morning, her dream is to be a professional cook.
Gabriel is a sports fan, so playing ball in the park was something that made her very happy.
Miguel is shyer, but a charming boy, he loves being read to superhero books, I always read one before he goes to school.
I took care of my nephew Nicolas for my sister, he was 7 months old at the time, I helped her on my days off, today he is two years old. He helped with feeding, changing diapers, bathing and also playing.
I also took care of a beautiful baby called Eloa, I started taking care of her when she was just 3 months old until she turned one, soon after I started working in the online sales administrative area of a supermarket, where I currently work.
All these experiences with the children were incredible and enriching.
I decided to be an Au Pair because I love children, I love taking care of them. Furthermore, I believe that this experience can help me improve my English; working with children and studying in the USA would be great for my future career in Brazil. I would also like to get to know American culture and share my culture and experiences with you. I think it will be a very special experience.
I want to do my best work. I love taking care of children, I love watching them grow and develop.
I believe this experience will change my life.
I will do my best to make this year a good one for us.
I believe communication is the key to making it work.
