Dear host family,

My name is Ana Paula, I'm a 25 years old Brazilian and future Au Pair. I am a warm and caring nanny with 5 years of experience working with infants, children and teens.
I also participated in social projects aimed at underprivileged children.
I love helping families relieve the stress of everyday life by making sure their children are cared for with lots of love and patience. In addition, I love helping children learn and explore in a safe, warm and happy environment. Arts and crafts, age-appropriate cooking, storytelling are some of my favorite activities. I can also cook very well, so I am very happy to provide high quality care for your children!
I took care of three children for a family here in Brazil, Esther 7 years old, Gabriel 12 years old and Miguel 6 years old, my main tasks were helping with schoolwork, preparing food, organizing the children's room and clothes.
I always had the habit of taking the children to the park on Thursdays so we could play and do some outdoor sport.
Esther is a super smart and sweet girl, one of the things we loved doing together was making homemade cookies in the morning, her dream is to be a professional cook.
Gabriel is a sports fan, so playing ball in the park was something that made her very happy.
Miguel is more shy, but a charming boy, he loves to be read superhero books to him, I always read one before he went to school.
I took care of my nephew Nicolas for my sister, he was 7 months old at the time, I helped her on days off, today he is two years old. Helped with feeding, changing diapers, bathing and also playing.
I also took care of a beautiful baby named Eloa, I started taking care of her with just 3 months until she turned one year old, shortly after I started working in the online sales administrative area in a supermarket, which is where I currently work.
All these experiences with the children were incredible and enriching.
I decided to be an Au Pair because I love children, I love taking care of them. Also, I believe this experience can help me improve my English skills; working with children and studying in the US would be great for my future career in Brazil. I would also like to get to know American culture and share my culture and experiences with you. I think it will be a very special experience.
I want to do my best work. I love taking care of children, I love watching them grow and develop.
I believe this experience will change my life.
I will do my best to make this year a good one for us.
I believe that communication is the key to making it work.
