Carta al Aupair

Hello! We are a family of three, two parents and an infant, who are looking to welcome an au pair into our home for 1 year to help with our son who will be 1 year old in December 2025. Both myself and my husband traveled extensively internationally for work in our 20s and like the idea of introducing a young person to American customs, and culture. We will be moving to Rhode Island--America's smallest state!--in December 2025 and are looking for an au pair to join us in the beautiful Ocean State. We have family in various parts of the country from the forest of New England and the Deep South to Washington, D.C. and hope to build short trips to these places into your time with us.

Descripción del trabajo

The job involves engaging and playing with and caring for a young infant during the work day (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday). We also have a friendly but high-energy large dog who will be with you during this time. Our current nanny takes everybody (the baby and the dog) for long walks a few times each day. Light household chores, for example helping swap out dishes or fold laundry during the workday, is also included but we recognize that watching a young baby can be *a lot* so cleaning is secondary.

Everyone in our household (except the baby!) generally cleans up after themselves and we'd ask that you do the same.

Alojamiento del Au Pair

We will be moving to Rhode Island and don't know what type of home we'll be renting. You will absolutely have your own bedroom and closet space. We would like to have a bathroom that was primarily yours as well, but it kind of depends on what rental housing is available.
