Hi, my name is Alexandra or Alex and I am a 21 year old American women who has always wanted to travel abroad. Currently, I am a nanny and real estate agent. I've been a nanny for over a year now but have been working with children of all ages for more than 5. I began working with children as a babysitter for my neighbors, but quickly realized how much I enjoyed the job. I got a job as an After-school childcare worker with the YMCA as a junior in highschool and continued to work there until I decided to pursue working as a nanny. I now nanny for a lovely family with three kids and babysit occasionally on the side for several families. I've always enjoyed working with children and it's a job I take great pride in. I always joke that from an outside perspective, I probably look crazy. I'm willing to do anything and everything to always guarantee the kids I look after are safe and happy, even if that means running and screaming around a playground or spending hours playing pretend. I've been fortunate enough to be able to travel around a lot of states in America, but as far as international travels go, my adventures have been pretty limited. I've always wanted to travel to different areas of the world, specifically Europe and Asia. Becoming an Au Pair seems like the perfect opportunity to combine two of my passions, childcare and travel.
