My name is Laurine, I’m 21 years old and I come from a small village in the north of France. After spending three exciting years studying communication and marketing, I decided to start an adventure that was very close to my heart : becoming an au pair. That’s how I spent an incredible year with a lovely host family in Ireland. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to build strong bonds with children, discover a new culture, and most importantly… greatly improve my English !

Today, I speak English almost fluently. I can hold conversations with ease.

But beyond the language, this experience deepened my desire to continue exploring the world. That’s why I now wish to begin a new adventure in Australia, a country I’ve dreamed of visiting for as long as I can remember.

Why continue as an au pair ? Because I still absolutely love being around children. I’ve always had a special connection with them, whether it’s creating fun games, telling stories, or simply sharing joyful moments filled with laughter and care.

I’m a cheerful, enthusiastic, and energetic person. I love outdoor activities, cooking delicious French meals (I’d be happy to introduce you to a few specialties from my region !), and above all, creating unforgettable memories with those around me.

Experiencia con niños

I have valuable experience with children that I’m excited to bring as an au pair.

I spent almost a year in Ireland as an au pair, taking care of two wonderful children: a 4-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy. I was actively involved in their daily routines—preparing meals, playing games, organizing picnics in the park, doing arts and crafts (drawing, play dough, creative activities), reading stories, giving baths, and sometimes even cooking with them! I also handled bedtime when needed, following their evening routine with calm and care. It was a truly rewarding experience that helped me develop even more creativity, patience, and a strong connection with children.

Before that, I also looked after a 6-year-old boy for two weeks in Corsica. Although we were staying with my parents’ friends, I was the one responsible for him. We had a great time together—playing soccer, snorkeling, swimming in the pool—and I prepared some of his meals when his parents were busy. I also enjoyed reading him stories to keep him entertained.

During school holidays, I looked after two siblings, aged 4 and 7. I took them to the park, planned creative activities, read stories, played board games, helped them with holiday homework, and also managed their bedtime when their parents were out.

In addition, I have a 16-year-old sister, and since she was born, I’ve always been very involved in helping my parents take care of her. I absolutely adore her and deeply value the time we spend together.

Finally, my best friend has a little boy who is 1 and a half years old, and I occasionally babysit for her. I take care of feeding him, helping him fall asleep, and putting him to bed.
