My name is Libby, and I am a 23 year old American currently living in Germany and working as an Au Pair. I come from Alabama, where I attended an academically intensive high school and attained many honors and recognitions on my diploma. I studied at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I received a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications with a minor in French. I maintained a Dean's Gold scholarship all four years of my studies. English has always been my strongest school subject, and I love to help others while they learn it. I have always been a hard worker, balancing nannying jobs on top of school and other jobs. I come from a very educated and fun family. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, crocheting, painting, being outside, and being creative. I love music and culture, and experiencing these things first hand. I really enjoy cleanliness and organization.
I have around ten years of experience working in childcare. I have stayed in touch with many of the previous families I have worked with and they would be more than willing to attest to my character. I have experience with children with physical disabilities, as well. I am a motivated learner and love being around children. My mother is an advocate for early childhood education in my home state and has always instilled in me how important education is for children.
