Dear Future Host Family,

Hi! My name is Oonagh and I am a 21-year-old dual national of the U.S. and the U.K. I am currently living in the U.S. but I would love to become an Au Pair to travel and live in parts of the world that I may not get the chance to in the future! Traveling and seeing new places has always been a dream of mine and I’m hoping with this opportunity this dream can become a reality.

When I was younger my family had four Au Pairs and they were truly a part of our family. They each remain like older sisters to me. My Au Pairs came from every corner of the world and each Au Pair had such a positive but different impact on my life. I do not think I would be the person I am today without the experiences and support they gave me. I wish to become an Au Pair so that I can impart the same inspiration and support I was given.

I would love to become a part of a family and help plan activities, go on outings, help to form good habits, and be a positive influence for children. I would love to be able to pass down the fun and excitement my Au Pairs brought into my life.

I have been taking care of children for over six years now and have experience with all age groups. It is something I have enjoyed doing and I wish to continue doing so but with a slight change in scenery. In preparation for becoming an au pair I have obtained my first aid and pediatric CPR from the American Red Cross.
