Hello!

My name is Analis but most of the time I go by Ani. I am a 27 year old student from the U.S. looking to relocate to study social sciences. Last year I obtained my Associate of Arts degree from Portland Community College, and I am currently studying full time at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I am also a teacher at Stephenson Children's Care Association where I get to spend my afternoons playing with some of the most amazing kids in the world. I love my job and I enjoy attending school here in Portland, but I would love to study abroad and learn valuable language skills while finishing my degree! I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, but grew up traveling to and from my family in Peru, so I am fluent in English and Spanish. Many of my travel experiences have doubled as volunteer opportunities in which I was able to work alongside marginalized children and families teaching English and providing social and emotional support where it was needed. In addition, I have many years of childcare experience ranging from nannying to working in schools, with a specialization in trauma informed care. I have had so many beautiful opportunities for learning and growth and I truly enjoy getting to know people, working alongside caring individuals, and being present for the needs of the youngest members of our society. I would love to be a part of your family, learn your native customs and contribute to the household environment however feels best for you and your family!

Expériences en garde d'enfants

The most important thing to me is to provide childcare that is respectful, accomodating, caring and loving. It is part of my personal philosophy that children are some of our greatest teachers. I feel that Au Pairing would be a perfect compliment to completing my studies because it would allow me to learn and grow both in the home and university environments! While I do not have experience being a live-in nanny, I have had plenty of experience nannying for families in the United States. The best way to get a better understanding of my history with au pairing and children is to visit my profile on Care.com. I love being able to assist with the daily needs of every household I've worked with and feel that cleaning, organizing, and preparing meals are all parts of the job that contribute to the overall ease of family needs. I am also very happy to work with pets, to take furry friends for walks, or help with any additional pet sitting needs!
