Hi there!

My name is Alice, I am 32 from West Yorkshire, England. I recently left my job with the UK government and I'm currently taking a career break in order to live abroad, learn a foreign language, and experience a different culture :)

I would describe myself as creative, patient and easygoing. I am looking to become an au pair with a host family who live in the city centre/ or near the beach. I am available from September 2024 onwards for 1 month or up to 1 year, sharing languages and cultures.

I was an au pair in 2018 with a family in Valencia, Spain for a month, and another family in Sevilla, Spain for a month. I have great memories from these times and I received a warm welcome from these families.

I also taught English in Austria for 3 months in 2016 across primary and secondary schools. We taught English through songs, sport, drama and games- the idea was to have fun through learning, and children just pick it up so easily!

I would be happy to help out getting the children ready for school in the mornings/looking after the children in the afternoons for example picking them up from school and entertaining/supervising them until the parents get home from their work. I will sometimes be able to babysit at night and weekends, but I would also love to explore your area and have time to myself, get involved in the local dance scene, make friends, and enrol in a language course :) but let me know what is your ideal timetable and we can sort something out.

In my free time I enjoy Latin dance and do salsa, bachata and kizomba. I also love to swim, SUP and cycle. I like exploring the outdoors, sunsets, travelling, reading, art, and cooking :)

I am available from September 2024, and I can look after the children, speak to them in English, help with homework, do activities with them such as art and crafts, cooking and baking, hairstyling, dressing up, playing board games, going to the park or beach together, riding bikes, swimming, playing ball, or accompany them to their own hobbies. I think we will have a lot of fun together as i am myself an oversized child. I can also help you with your English as a parentif you like :)

I am also able to come with you on holiday, do grocery shopping, prepare healthy meals (I really enjoy being in the kitchen), walk the dogs, help with homework, babysit, look after elderly relatives, keep the house neat and tidy.
