Dear Future Host Family;

My name is Moureen. I'm from Africa based in East Africa from Kenya,I live in the capital city of Kenya Nairobi.I am 19 years old and I'm from a very
strong nuclear family of 7 people. My mom(charity), My three sisters (Shirleen 26,JaneAnn15yrs and Joy13yrs).I being the second born.I have my two supermen (nephews, Suleiman 8yrs and Rayaan 3yrs).
I just finished my highschool and year ago.being an Aupair has always been my dream. I have Love for the elderly and children, Love for other cultures and language has always been apart of me.
After my highschool level I did two short courses catering and computer both taking a short term of three months.
I have extended family whom live closer to each other apart from my grandmother whom lives in the upcountry. My mother is a business woman dwelling in the field of used oil.My big sister is a waitress and the rest of my siblings are student apart from my three year old nephew .My mother has ensured to give us the best of character. I cherish people alot and I choose to stay around people who are loyal,true, free,with good personality,fun and open minded.

My strength would be best described as having good ability to bond with kids and the elderly easily. I have the ability to blend in very easily and hence being their role model and mentor in each and every aspect of life also as their big sister. I have the ability to tackle things and stand a chance to be corrected whenever I'm wrong.Im fast in adaptability. I have positive attitude in everything I do. I'm committed in whatever I do. I have good problem solving skills.I have good communication skills despite language barriers. My weakness is that when I get too attached to something or someone letting go for me is not easy or forgetting them is not easy especially kids, elderly and people whom we have created good memories with me.

My interest are motivated by the fact that I love kids and I will get quality time to spend with them as well as the elderly. Being their role model and playing games with kids makes me very proud and happy. I also find it rewarding in helping the elderly.

My favorite part about being an Aupair is that I will always have a relationship with a second family in another country.
You will be perfect because living with you will encourage me to push myself out of that comfort zone and to practice new language skills as they promote a safe learning environment. Practicle access is offered as I can speak with my younger siblings and grandparents when you are off to work.I will be able to learn the more complex in and outs of life and how to handle it.It will help me to grow independent and more responsible because it will give me more responsibility.lending a houndcount even in my own little ways.

My ideal host family would be a kind family, welcoming, understanding, willing to exchange and learn new things, language, culture and norms from each other.I am looking for a long time connection, for 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family.
