Hello! My name is Gaia, I'm 22 years old and I study languages (English, Spanish and Russian) at university. I still need some exams to graduate, I think I'll finish by March 2025.
I come from a small town in Puglia and at 18 I moved to northern Italy to study. I decided to study languages because I love traveling and speaking the local language with local people.
I am the youngest daughter in the family. I have an older brother, Giovanni, he's 29 years old and he works at GD, a company that produces machinery to produce cigarettes. My mother is called Anna, she's 57 years old and she is an elementary school teacher and my father is called Gianni, he's 64 years old and he is retired. Before he was a trader and had a stationery shop.
What about me? My friends tell me that I am a very cheerful and extroverted person, ready to throw myself into new adventures and they are convinced, like me, that this adventure as an au pair will be wonderful.
In the past I have had experiences in my family taking care of my younger cousins and now I have been babysitting in the city where I live for 3 years. I worked for more than a year with a 6 year old child and subsequently with a 5 year old child with whom I continue to work today.
I love spending time with children because I learn a lot from them.
