We are delighted to extend an invitation to you, hoping you will join our family as an au pair. We believe this will be a wonderful and mutually beneficial experience—you will be able to immerse yourself in daily life in China and deeply experience the local customs and culture here. Meanwhile, our 8-year-old child will have the opportunity to learn English from a native speaker like you and get close to foreign cultures, satisfying his curiosity about the world.

Let us first tell you about our living environment. We live in the city center, where life is very convenient. Supermarkets, cafes, and parks are all within a few minutes' walk, making daily shopping and casual walks extremely easy. If you want to take Chinese language courses in your free time later, there’s no need to worry about commuting at all. The nearby language schools are all within 5 kilometers, and it’s very convenient to get there by bike or bus, which can save you a lot of time and energy.

Transportation here is also particularly convenient. There are a train station and a bus station near our home. On weekends or holidays, if you want to go out and explore nearby cities, you can plan a short trip at any time. If you’d like, we’d also be happy to go with you occasionally to show you the characteristics and charm of different cities.

Regarding your main role here, it’s actually very relaxed—just communicate with our child in English naturally in daily life. For example, chat about daily routines during meals, explain game rules in English when playing, or talk about your hometown and hobbies with him when going out for a simple walk in the park. We don’t require you to prepare lessons and teach like a full-time teacher; this kind of relaxed and casual language interaction will help the child adapt to the English environment faster and improve his expressive ability.

Of course, as family members, we will also try our best to help you adapt to life in China: we will practice Chinese spoken language with you, show you around the streets and alleys of this city, take you to taste local specialties, and experience interesting traditional customs together, such as pasting Spring Festival couplets during the Spring Festival and admiring the full moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

We will prepare a comfortable private room for you, and you can have meals with us on a daily basis. We hope you can relax completely here, feel the warmth of home, and become not just a guest, but also a member of our family.
