Dear future host family,

Hi! I’m Valentina, I’m 20 years old, and I am from Mexico. I’d describe myself as a warm, creative, positive, and extroverted person who loves connecting with people, laughing a lot, and finding joy in the little things. I have strong values, good manners, and I’m honest and reliable, qualities I know are important when joining a family as an Au Pair.
I absolutely adore children. I grew up taking care of my little cousin, who I love as a brother, and my three younger siblings on my dad’s side. I was the oldest, so I often helped look after them. Whenever I’m with kids, I feel so much joy. I especially loved caring for my four-year-old cousin; being with her brought me so much joy. Although she recently moved to another country, because of that I no longer have that daily dose of giggles. On top of that, I’ve been an English teacher for students of all ages, including children, which taught me patience, creativity, and how to make learning super fun.
I want to become an Au Pair because I’m passionate about travelling, discovering new cultures, and learning from every experience. I see being an Au Pair as the perfect way to combine my love for children with my energy, curiosity, and playful spirit. I love sports, outdoor activities, and coming up with fun projects, and I’d be thrilled to share all of that with your kids. I also work well under pressure, adapt easily, and always bring positivity wherever I go.
You should host me because I’m responsible, trustworthy, energetic, and fun—but also realistic and grounded. I’m ready to be part of your family, support your children’s growth, and create a warm, playful, and safe environment for them. I promise to bring laughter, care, creativity, and lots of hugs while learning and growing alongside your family.
