Hey :) My name is Luisa, 20, and from a small village in the South of Germany. After my graduation 2023 I decided to move to the US to finally fulfill my dream - becoming an AuPair. I lived in Chicago in an amazing host family for one year!! Taking care of my two hostkids was everything I've always dreamed of! Whether we were playing hockey in the alley, baking delicious cookies or having a nerf war (which I'm usually always losing) we were always having so much fun together!
I would describe myself as a reliable, kind, easy-going and optimistic person, who tries to make the best out of every situation! I also have great experience working with kids from age 2 to 15.
During the school holidays I did an internship in a kindergarten for 3 weeks. I had so much fun playing with the kids. Some days we spent all day in the sandpit to build the tallest sandcastle. The other day I was taken to prison by 4 police men officers. I loved how you can make kids happy, just with small things. Every day was different, because kids are not predictable. Furthermore it was also very interesting for me to see how educators regulate certain situations. Since January 2022 I am also teaching young girls at a local gymnastic club. We train once a week and had our first competition in November. It is always so funny with them and I love being able to help them learn new things. They are so happy every time somethings worked out for the very first time.
