Dear Host Family,

My name is Mikhail - or less familiar, Misha. I am a Liberal Art student at university on the south of Hungary. To make it more clear, I study art history, philosophy and film art, so you can think of me as a future art historian. However, this is my second degree, my first one was in International relations. So, I am not interested only in 'abstract artsy things' (though politics is quite abstract, too).

For a few years I have been teaching English, and I think that, in general, languages are one of the great things we, humans, have encountered in our lives. I truly believe that there are only advantages in learning them. However, it is not the language itself (I mostly consider it to be a tool) but the communication it lets us maintain. Thus, this is my prior goal - discover the world through conversations! And I am happy to share my knowledge, off course, while getting to know new things myself. It is always easier to learn new things trough exchange, no matter what age we are.

I am always eager to visit new places, and Au-Pair is a nice opportunity for that. Living with a host family and spending time with people of the area is the best way to plunge into the true essence of the place. At the same time, I will be happy to share my enthusiasm and interest with children, exploring the world around us.

When it comes to my personality, I am a curious optimist who is, however, modest and not demanding a lot. Thus, it is easy to get along with me. I am not only an admirer of arts and science, but also a big fan of recreation sport: hiking, bike-riding and outdoor games. There is nothing better than a sunny day outside!

I really think that with my overall curiosity towards everything new and open-minded eagerness to share my experience I can be a great Au-Pair and Tutor! I know well how to communicate with children and keep them interested.
