My name is Lara, I am 22 years old and I come from the beautiful coastal city of Rijeka, Croatia. I am currently in my third year at the College of Teacher Education in Zagreb, where I am studying to become a preschool teacher. I have decided to take a gap year before completing my studies to explore new opportunities and broaden my horizons.

I would love to become an Au Pair because it is the perfect way to combine my passion for working with children with my desire to experience life in another culture. I believe that living with a host family allows for a much deeper understanding of traditions, everyday life, and values than simply visiting as a tourist. I am especially excited to improve my language skills and learn more about the way children are raised in your country.

I have over 15 years of experience in judo, which has taught me discipline, patience, and perseverance. Being fluent in English and having basic knowledge of Italian, I can communicate well while continuing to learn. Most importantly, I have hands-on experience with children, both through my studies and volunteering. I am energetic and talkative, yet I know how to create a safe and structured environment for children.
