I would like to be a Caregiver for elderly ages abroad because I want to extend my ability to help those people in need. My first experience it is happened on my family side which I took care of my grand father. I was on my teenage that time when I look after my grand father,as he is very old and he is gone through back cyst operation. Since it was summer break and no school. I was able to present myself to stay on the side with my grand father in the hospital. I do feeding him, make bathing, changing clothes and send him to toilet as needed. Assist him for some moving. Doing his wound dressing. That is the first come in my mind that I wanted to be a healthcare in the future. Now, that I have been completed my internship in the huge Hospital. I have been assigned in some department which is the ward department, Intensive care unit(ICU department), Newborn Intensive care unit (NICU department) and Out patient (OPD department).
Whereas in the ward with total capacity 50 patient equivalent to 30 room. In the the timely chart I need to check all the patient room to change there bed linen cloth, as well as helping elderly to take a bath. Insight for ICU I need to do more helpful hand to hand to the patient according to there treatment. I do the PEG tube feeding while there is a certified nurse with me and cleaning hygenically in oral. As well bed bathing and wound dressing. However my experience in NICU for Newborn babies I need to clean the baby and do the bottle feeding. Hereby in OPD for outpatient I do the checking there vital signs and send them to the attending doctor.
