Hi everybody!

My name is Kelsey, I am a female, born and raised in Boise, Idaho.

Currently: I am 20 years old and a full time student studying at Boise State University. I am studying biology with an exercise health emphasis. I am studying this in hopes of working in a women's health practice one day. If I were to be chosen as an Au Pair for your family I would continue my studies but transfer it to online. I work two jobs right now, one at a climbing gym and one at a cafe/restaurant. I have a very busy week every week but manage to still enjoy life and take care of myself.

A little bit about me and my background: I come from a family of 6, 2 older sisters, an older brother, and two younger sisters. I was raised by a single mom my whole life and am very familiar with being in a family setting. My mom worked two jobs to be able to raise us, so all of us siblings helped take care of each other. I have helped out taking care of my two younger siblings since I can remember. It never felt like a chore but just responsibility I knew I had considering the circumstances. I think this provides me with adequate experience in taking care of kids because it is all I have ever known. I have also had a plethora of nannying and baby sitting jobs outside of my own family since I was 13. I have taken care of children of all ages and many different backgrounds. I absolutely adore kids and want some of my own one day.

I would like to become an Au Pair because it is an experience I have never had before but feels as though I have. I would love the experience of immersing myself in someone else's culture, beliefs, values and honestly just family. People are truly are all we have in this world and being able to connect with one another makes it worth it. I think you should host me because I am a very positive, hardworking, and kind individual. I have the experience of taking care of kids but can provide a positive space and environment for the children as well. I know how to enjoy simple things in life and make light of many situations. I have had a job since I was 15 which was on top of being in school and a national level athlete. Though I don't recommend juggling that many responsibilities, it is something I am capable of and something I handle well. On top of it all I am a kind, understanding, patient and caring person. I empathize deeply for people, maybe too much for my own good. I care for the people who are close to me and would do anything for them. I think having someone like this in my own home would make me feel comfortable knowing this person would treat my kid as if they were their own( with the most respective boundaries of course.)
