My name is Maria Eduarda, I’m 29 years old and currently living in Brazil, close to the beautiful beaches of Olinda. I’m a trained nurse, and at the moment, I’m taking a post-graduate course in advanced aesthetics. I’m passionate about childcare, education, and creating safe, nurturing spaces for children to grow.

I decided to become an Au Pair again because I genuinely love being part of a child’s everyday world — their laughter, their questions, their discoveries. I had the opportunity to work as an au pair in the United States from 2019 to 2020, and it was a life-changing experience. While it had its challenges, the bond I formed with the children I cared for was something I carry with deep affection to this day. That connection is what brought me back to this path, now with more maturity, empathy, and a clearer sense of purpose.

I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I’m calm, creative, responsible, and emotionally intuitive. I understand the importance of communication, routine, and patience in a household with children. I love baking, crafting, reading stories, and I truly enjoy finding joy in the little things — something kids are masters at.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

In 2019, I had the amazing opportunity to live in Oakland, California, as an au pair for two incredible children, aged 6 and 9. It was one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. I still remember our afternoon walks, movie nights, and the way they would run to tell me about their day — those little moments that make you feel like you’re part of something special.

During my time with the family, I wasn’t just a caregiver — I was a friend, a big sister, and a safe person for the kids to count on. We cooked together, did homework, played imaginative games, and built a strong bond based on trust and affection. I loved creating a calm, structured environment where they could feel free to express themselves and just be kids.

That experience made me fall in love with the au pair lifestyle — not just because of the cultural exchange, but because of the deep connections it can create. It helped me grow in so many ways: I became more independent, more open-minded, and even more passionate about working with children.

Now, a few years later, I feel ready to live this journey again. I would love to become an au pair abroad because I truly believe in the power of cultural immersion and the magic of being part of a child’s daily life.
