Dear Host Family,

my name is Chiara and I am 20 years old.
I am currently living with my family so, my mum, my dad and my brother.
We live in Verona a city in the north of Italy well known for the "Arena" and for the love story of Romeo and Juliet.
At the moment I am attending my second year of university studying Interpreting and International Relationships in Mantua.

Since when I discovered the figure of the Au Pair I loved it, because it combines two of the things that I like the most: Children and discover new cultures.
I always loved the idea of exploring the world throughout the eyes of the locals but exploring the world trough the eye of a kid is something extraordinary.

Through my many travels, I have learned to adapt easily to the situation I am in and have learned to step in, when there was the need.
My parents taught me to be an helpful resources both in helping with the house and in taking care of the kids.

Thanks to my many years as a children's entertainer at summer camps, I was able to face different situations like in the case a kid get hurt or dealing with special needs kids.
But not just this also I learned to love to improvise games at open air and to play with the kids.
Above all the most important thing when working with kids, in my opinion is team work whether it was with parents or with my colleague I was there ready to listen and to cooperate with both of them.
