Dear Host Family,

My name is Kanyaporn, you can call me Nook. I’m 26 years old from Bueng Kan, a town in the north east of Thailand. I have taken care of children aged 5 to 10 in my family. I also help at I-GeniusKids Pinklao, a language school. There, I look after kids aged 3 to 11 and help keep the classrooms clean. I also help get teaching materials ready for the younger ones. It’s great to see them learn. I've also had some first-aid training and know basic emergency responses, which I believe is important when taking care of children and I have a driving license as well.

About me, I'm someone who likes helping others. I would describe myself as the quiet and introvert person, but I am happy spending time with people too. I think I get along well with people and my friends describe as calm, happy and patient. I think it’s important to show the patience with children, especially when they are younger. When I have free time, I love cooking especially Asian dishes.

I want to know about new cultures, live with new people, and see new places. Also, I think understanding how other people raise children will be helpful for me in the future. I am very interested to see how things are different in Europe from Thailand both for culture and how you raise your children. I want to experience the traditional holidays like Easter and Christmas and it would be lovely to learn a third language if I live in a country where it is needed.

Lastly, I must say my English is not perfect. I am still learning. But I am hoping that this Au Pair experience will also help improve my English. Thank you for considering me. I hope I can be a good match for your family and help take care of your kids.
