Hi :)
I am Zala, a 22-year-old girl from Slovenia with an active imagination and a deep love for nature and art. I have always been an avid forest explorer and love swimming in the nearby river in the summer. In the winter you can find me at the ice rink or any frozen pond.

Nature has always been my playground and sanctuary. There's just something so magical about the serenity of the forest and the gentle rush of the river that captivates me. I love going on aimless walks by the river and to the local hilltops. It's where I feel most at peace, and always find inspiration, and endless opportunities for adventure. I believe in fostering a deep connection with the natural world, and I'm eager to share this with your children.

In addition to my outdoor pursuits, I am an avid reader with a particular fondness for fantasy and fairytales. Being raised by an actor and a teacher I have always been encouraged to read, go to museums, and vist galleries. I would love to pass down tales of brave heroes, mythical creatures, and far-off lands, to your children and spark their creativity and sense of wonder.

Creativity is at the heart of everything I do. With a background in fashion design, I've had the pleasure of bringing to life my ideas through costume design for figure skating and dance, as well as participating in fashion shows throughout my time studying in Ljubljana.

As a two-time national champion in the young adult bronze figure skating category, I've honed my skills both on and off the ice. But what brings me the most joy is the opportunity to be an older sister figure to younger skaters, serving as their safe space, motivator, shoulder to cry on, and biggest supporter while guiding them through the often grueling training schedules, competitions, and Christmas shows.

Beyond the rink, I've also learned karate, where I have earned a brown belt, and taken contemporary dance lessons.

Family holds a special place in my heart. Growing up with sisters of varying ages have taught me the importance of empathy, communication,
and support. Whether it's bonding over shared interests, sharing toys, fighting for the TV remote, or simply enjoying each other's company and playing pretend, my sisters have been my constant companions and partners in crime.

As your au pair, I am committed to becoming part of a nurturing, supportive, and enriching environment for your children filled with love and compassion. I will encourage their curiosity, cultivate their creativity, and instill in them a love for nature, learning, and adventure. Together, we'll embark on a journey of exploration, growth, and endless possibilities.
