Hello dear future host family, I am happy to write this letter to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself. My name is Magaly, I am 26 years old and from Bolivia. I am a student of civil construction. I was characterized as responsible, attentive, affectionate, and enthusiastic, with a great love for children and pets. I am excited about living a cultural experience and learning from it for my personal growth.
From a very young age, I have taken care of my nephews and cousins, and later I gained experience taking care of children and babies, so I began to work as a nanny with other families, but I also volunteered at Best Buddies, a program where I worked directly with people with disabilities, which allowed me to develop care and emotional support skills in a different environment. I enjoy organizing games, helping with schoolwork, and accompanying them in their growth. My patience and commitment have allowed me to create a safe and happy environment for children.
I want to be an Au Pair to combine childcare with the opportunity to get to know a new culture, share moments with the family, improve my English, and share my culture to create unforgettable memories.

I want to be an au pair in an American host family because I am passionate about working with children, and I believe this experience will allow me to learn from them while sharing my own culture. I love the culture, the language, and the opportunity to have a unique experience.
Living with a family will help me improve my English naturally and adapt to new customs. I am also excited about traveling, exploring new places, and making international friendships.

From a very young age, I helped take care of my little cousins. He played with them, helped them with their homework and accompanied them in their daily activities. This experience taught me the importance of patience and creativity in keeping children entertained and happy.

For a while, I took care of a 2-month-old baby named Evan at a nearby family's house. I was in charge of preparing his bottle, his porridge, bathing him, and changing his diapers.

I took care of a 7-year-old boy named Matias and a 9-year-old Britani at a close friend's house. I was in charge of preparing breakfast and lunch, going shopping, and helping them with their schoolwork. I really enjoyed watching him learn and grow, which reinforced my love for working with babies and children, and I babysat a 1-year-old boy named Jack.

I had the opportunity to volunteer at Best Buddies, where I accompanied and supported a young man with intellectual disabilities and a girl with Down syndrome. We spent time together doing activities such as games, crafts, and recreational outings. My goal was to provide them with friendship, emotional support and encourage their independence in different situations.
I really enjoyed this experience because it allowed me to develop empathy, patience, and a better understanding of inclusion. I learned that friendship has no barriers and that small gestures can make a big difference in someone's life. This experience reinforced my desire to help others and work with people of different abilities.

Being an au pair will allow me to continue learning and sharing special moments with children.
