1. My name is Rebecca, I’m 19 years old and from Denmark. I finished my EUX Business education last summer and I'm currently on a gap year, working full time as a substitute in kindergartens. I’m a smiling, outgoing, and caring person who loves being around children. I live in a small town called Solrød, not far from Copenhagen.

2. Why I want to become an Au Pair
I want to become an Au Pair because I love working with kids and I’m really curious about experiencing a new culture and way of life. Being an Au Pair feels like the perfect mix – doing something meaningful while also getting the adventure of living abroad. I’ve always dreamed of going to Australia, and I can’t think of a better way than being part of a local family.

3. Why the candidate should host me
You should host me because I’m polite, kind, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I’m fun and sometimes a bit of a child myself because I love speed and heights and I don't mind getting messy in the playground. But I am also calm, responsible and dependable. I’m used to working with kids aged 0–6 and I’ve learned how to create a safe, warm, and playful environment. I’m happy to help around the house and l would love being part of your family.

4. Why I qualify for the position
I’ve been working full-time in kindergartens during my gap year, I’ve helped with everything from morning routines, diaper changes, meals, and nap time to creative play, outdoor activities, and conflict resolution. So I know the daily rhythm with children really well. I’ve also worked in customer service, which taught me to stay calm, positive, and helpful in busy situations. I’m fluent in English, used to taking responsibility, and excited to learn.
