Dear Host family, Hello, my name is Tom Tam. I'm from a province with the largest elephant village in the world. I live in a small town where surrounded by nature. My family have 5 members including mom, dad, 2 sisters and me. I studied in Faculty of Education. Now I'm working as a teacher in a rural school. I have 2 years experiences in childcare and teaching experience. I am currently working at elementary school. My duties are teaching, exercise in morning with students, singing, dancing, preparing milk and snacks, taking them for a nap in the afternoon and doing activities such as drawing and painting. Being a teacher in the school. I am responsible for two classes. One class, I look after children age 4 to 6 years old. For another class, I look after children age 7 to 12 years old. Each class have total 20 kids. The more I teach them the more I notice that each kid has a unique personality and behaves differently. Base on my experiences, children age 7 to 12 years old. They start to think about themselves more and find things that they enjoy to do, such as playing games, playing sports, playing music, I have taught kids to play volleyball, football, badminton. They really loved the sport and we got along very well. Since I become a teacher, I have met a lot of children. I really enjoy talking to the kids. We hug every morning when we meet at school. I feel that they are so cute and pure. Every time I take the kids outside. They will be very excited and keep talking to me. Their eyes open wide with a big smile. Especially, Children age 4 to 6 years old. They have many questions and wonder about the matters around them. I give reasonable answers to them because children will start to remember things very quickly. Additionally, I used to help my friend to take care of her baby. He was a newborn. I took care of him on the weekend for 3 months. I have done such as, I sometimes carried him on my chest when we go outside, took him for a bath, washed his cloths, changed diapers, took him for asleep and feed him with milk. He was a lovely boy

When I was a student, I participated in the Volunteer Teacher Program. Across all regions of Thailand in the wilderness for three full years. We Travel to the North and the South of Thailand. We went to Chatuchak Market and various places in Bangkok to raise money to help disadvantaged children who uneducated and orphan. These kids don't have ID cards so they don't have right to study in school. We spent 15 days there. We cook for kids, read a book with them and play together. If talking about myself. I am a good human being. I like to make new friends and talk about thing to discuss and see how do they think. I am open mind and easy-going. I see myself as a funny person. I smile a lot. I like to play with children. My student said that I'm so kind because I always give snacks and play with them. Moreover, I am diligent and love to do all kind of things. I think it's great and fun to try something new.

My experience with kids
I have experience caring for children of all ages. I understand children very well and I am with them every day. I will listen to what children say and pay attention to every word they say because they will always ask us and want to give a good answer.
