Best Au Pair of 2024 Contest

Do you have an incredible Au Pair who has made a positive impact on your family? Here’s your chance to nominate them for the prestigious title of Best Au Pair of 2024!

How It Works

Host Families can nominate their Au Pairs by submitting a video that shares their experience and explains why their Au Pair deserves to win.

• Videos can feature both the family and the Au Pair together or as separate videos. If you choose to send two separate videos, they must be attached to the same email.
• Only Host Families can submit nominations. Unfortunately, Au Pairs cannot apply directly.

Prizes

We’re awarding prizes to the top three Au Pairs and their Host Families: 

For Au Pairs:

• 1st Place: €500 and an original AuPair.com T-shirt.
• 2nd Place: €200 and an original AuPair.com T-shirt.
• 3rd Place: €100 and an original AuPair.com T-shirt.

For Host Families:

• 1st Place: 1-year free membership.
• 2nd Place: 6-month free membership.
• 3rd Place: 3-month free membership.

All Host Families who qualify will also receive a 1-month free membership as a thank-you for participating.

How to Qualify

To qualify, your video must meet these criteria:

• Be of good audio and video quality.
• Recorded horizontally.
• In one of the following languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Chinese (Mandarine).
• Ideally feature both the Host Family and Au Pair together (if not possible, separate videos are fine).
• Share why your Au Pair is the Best Au Pair of 2024. Feel free to include family members, including kids, to express their thoughts!
• By submitting the video, you agree to allow us to use it on our social media platforms.

Selection Process

Our commission will evaluate all submissions based on creativity and authenticity to select the top three finalists.
The finalists’ videos will be posted on AuPair.com’s official profile on Instagram, where the public can vote to decide the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: Videos must be submitted by Sunday, February 2, 2025.
• Finalists Announced: Our commission will choose the top 3 finalists, and their videos will be uploaded to Instagram (@aupaircom) by Friday, February 7, 2025.
• Instagram Voting Deadline: Voting will close on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM CET. 

Additional Information

• Videos not selected as finalists may still be featured on AuPair.com’s social media in the future. Families whose videos are chosen for future use will receive a 1-month free membership and will be notified in advance.
• Membership rewards can be activated at any time during 2025 if the family doesn’t need them immediately.
