Dear Host Family,


I am Bridget Nicole B. . 20 years of age. I lived in Southern Davao, Panabo City Davao Del Norte, Philippines. I am a student, and I finished Senior High School.

I came from a family composes of six (6) members. I am a family-oriented person, my parents raised me to be a God-fearing. I have a good set of family, we go to church together every Saturday, and every Sunday we have our family bonding. My parents loves us so much. My family is my pillars of strength. Growing up sorrounded by loving and affectionate family is like a dream. I love them all so much because of their loving and caring nature. I am truly lucky to have such a loving family.

I would described my personality as approachable, light-hearted, positive, determined and responsible.

My character traits are, I am religous, honest, kind, sweet, and most especially a kids lover. I am also a transparent person, I am willing to adapt the new culture, new environment, new weather. Everything is challenging to me but I hope and pray that I will be given a chance to learn how to think differently, a chance to become part of the new culture, and a chance to experience the real world.


My hobbies are dancing, playing volleyball, playing badminton, and biking. I have an extravagant interest in travelling, listening to music, gardening, playing instrument and going to camping.

My future plans are to finished my studies, after that is I will find a stable job. Then build a business so that I can help my parents and family financially.

I have an enjoyable and unforgettable experience about childcare, because when my mother went abroad and my aunt went to Manila for work I am the one who take good care of them, my younger brother a 15 years old, my younger sister which is 5 years old, and my girl cousin a 5 years old too. I am the one who cook and prepare their foods, I also bathe my sister and cousin, change their clothes, brush their teeth, wash and fold their clothes, clean their mess, and tack them to bed. I also guide them in answering their modules, I teach them two how to write, how to count, and how to read. For my 15 years old brtoher, I also help him in answering his modules. I watch them, the youngest one play with their playmates during their free time. While doing all the household chores, I also take good care of them. Being their babysitter and sister it is very tiring and even sometimes a testing patience, but I don't think about that thing because I enjoy a lot taking care of them, that all that matters, I really enjoy and love taking care of them. I do really love kids so much, whenever I see one, my heart filled with extreme happiness. I also enjoy playing with them, teaching them new things and watching cartoons with them. I am like their second mother, I take good care of them for two years and counting, I really enjoy that experience a lot. I learned so many lessons and so many experiences. With that experience I learned how to manage my time wisely, and I became more responsible, patient, and resilient sister to them.
