I worked as caregiver at Kidspunjapatana School 10th August – 31st August 2024 (for 1 month in total) There, I took care of 12-15 children of age between 2.7 to 11 years old. My main duties were taking care of children's hygiene, sanitary, wellbeing, taught them cognitive skills, played toys, games, did creative activities, and teach them homework. The next childcare experience took place at Korat Montessori (1st August 2023 – 1st August 2024 (a full-time job, Mon-Fri) Here I took care of 6-14 children age between 2-3 years old. In total, I have collected over 2,080 hrs. of childcare experience. My key duties were taking care of kids, changing diapers, preparing snacks and drinks, monitoring children when doing outdoor activities, potty training including bathing them. Here there were a variety of fun activities I had done with children to help them learn and develop their cognitive skills, emotional intelligence, and IQ. This teacher assistant experiences made me patient, compassionate, nurturing, attentive, empathetic, and become better at interpersonal communication.

My ability in child psychology has been improved. The more I spent time with children, the more insightfully I understand their characters, behaviors and know how to interact with them properly and effectively. This role allowed me to educate children, create a safe and stimulating environment, help children learn and grow with confidence. This makes me proud of myself and it is one of the key reasons encouraging me to pursue the Au Pair journey.

Becoming an Au Pair in Europe is an opportunity I’m looking forward to, where I can learn and explore its diverse cultures. Europe is known for its great education systems and focus on safety and well being. Countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Norway encourage creativity and critical thinking, which fits well with my studies in French for Communication. Learning foreign languages have not only taught me the language but also helped me understand foreign culture, politics, and history, giving me a wider view of the world. Au Pair experience in Europe will help me grow both personally and professionally by experiencing different cultures, improving my language skills, and helping a host family in their daily life. It will change my life, along with giving me the chance to be part of a lively community and improve both my language and communication skills.
