Carta a la familia

Hi! My name is Ariel, and I’m a warm, adaptable, and globally minded professional with a background in civil engineering, business, and international consulting. I’ve worked across the U.S. and abroad in environments that require care, coordination, and strong interpersonal skills. At my core, I’m a nurturing, service-oriented person who values connection, growth, and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Becoming an Au Pair is a way for me to combine my love for cultural exchange, learning, and caregiving while stepping into a new chapter of life. I recently experienced a major transition and see this opportunity as not only a reset but also a meaningful way to invest in others—especially children—while continuing to experience new parts of the world. I deeply value the bonds that come from shared routines and genuine care, and I’m excited to support a family’s daily life while also immersing myself in a different culture.

I bring a unique mix of warmth, maturity, and practical skill. I’ve held roles that required responsibility, empathy, problem-solving, and long-term relationship-building. I’m calm under pressure, great with kids, and committed to being a steady and positive presence in your home. You can trust that I’ll treat your family with kindness, respect, and the same care I’d give my own. I also have a flexible, go-with-the-flow personality and understand how to support both structure and spontaneity in a family environment.

I’m highly organized, communicative, and experienced in managing routines, multitasking, and responding to needs quickly and calmly—skills gained both professionally and through years of mentorship, tutoring, and family care. My background in working across cultures makes me especially sensitive to family dynamics, and I bring a sense of fun, curiosity, and reliability to everything I do. As a Type 1 diabetic, I’m also deeply empathetic and mindful of health-related needs, which helps me support others with attentiveness and compassion.

Experiencia con niños

I’m someone who lights up when I get to connect with people—especially across cultures and through shared daily life. I’ve always loved the idea of building relationships that cross borders, and being an au pair feels like a natural way to blend my love for travel, care, and meaningful connection.

What draws me to this experience is the opportunity to step into a new environment with open arms and an open heart. I’m not looking for a vacation—I’m looking for something real. I want to show up for a family in a genuine way, contribute positively to their day-to-day world, and grow through the experience of being trusted, relied on, and included.

I know how much energy, patience, and presence it takes to care for kids, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ve supported families before—whether through tutoring, mentoring, or just being someone kids can count on—and I’ve learned that being grounded, kind, and adaptable can make all the difference.

This season of my life is about doing something that matters, where I’m fully present and making a difference. I’m excited to bring curiosity, care, and calm energy into someone’s home—not just as a helper, but as someone invested in creating a positive, joyful atmosphere. I believe the best experiences happen when people open their lives to one another, and I’d be honored to do just that.
