Dear Host Family,

My name is Juliana, I’m 21 years old, and I live in São Paulo, Brazil. I’m very excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair and join your family in what I hope will be a meaningful, warm, and enriching experience for all of us.

I have always enjoyed being around children. My main experience comes from taking care of my younger sister from the time she was a baby until she was around five years old. I was involved in her daily routine—feeding, bathing, changing diapers, playing, helping her sleep, and making sure she was always safe and happy. I also cared for a 10-month-old baby on two different occasions, which gave me even more confidence with younger children. These experiences taught me patience, creativity, and the importance of listening and understanding a child’s needs.

Although I haven’t worked as a professional babysitter or Au Pair yet, I’ve naturally taken on the role of caregiver within my family whenever needed. I genuinely enjoy helping with children and creating a fun, nurturing environment for them to grow and feel loved.

I’m a calm and creative person who likes spending time at home, but I also enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, biking, or just going for a walk. I love cooking and trying out new recipes, especially when I can share them with others. Some of my favorite hobbies include drawing, coloring, listening to music, and playing games—whether video games, board games, or imaginative games with kids.

I’m also passionate about learning. I’ve completed high school and have a technical course in graphic design. I study English, Swedish, and French on Duolingo and enjoy learning languages through music, movies, and daily practice. My goal is to improve my communication skills and experience new cultures, and I see the Au Pair program as a perfect way to do that.

While I do have a special curiosity about Sweden, I’m completely open to living in different countries—whether in Europe, the Americas, or Asia. What matters most to me is the chance to be part of a respectful and welcoming family where I can share my personality, help care for your children, and grow through cultural exchange.

I hope to find a family that values kindness, communication, and diversity. As a Black Brazilian woman and LGBTQ+ ally, I deeply value acceptance and mutual respect, and I look forward to joining a household that embraces these values too.
