Hello!

I’m really excited about the chance to join your family as an au pair! A little bit about me. I’m 28 years old and living in Tokyo, Japan at the moment. I am originally from the United States. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. I am a Registered Behavior Therapist, with over three years of experience in ABA Therapy. Working with children, especially those on the spectrum, has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me surrounded by nature, music, and some form of art. I love expressing myself through fashion, art, and DIY projects. I’m always up for a hike and love exploring new trails to take in the beauty of nature.

Travel is something I’m really passionate about, it’s opened my eyes to so many new experiences and perspectives. I’d be thrilled to bring all of these passions into your home, creating a fun and nurturing space for your children.

I’m hoping to join a host family that values clear communication, mutual respect, and a welcoming vibe. I’d love to feel like part of the household, not just someone helping out. I really appreciate when families are open to collaboration and value my input with the kids. I’m also excited about cultural exchange and getting to learn from each other.
As for accommodations, a private and comfortable space with access to essentials like a bathroom, kitchen, and laundry would be perfect. More than anything, I’m looking for a supportive and positive atmosphere where everyone is enjoying the experience together.

Betreuungserfahrungen

I’ve been working with kids for over 11 years now. It all started with helping care for my autistic cousin when I was younger. That experience opened my eyes to how much patience, creativity, and understanding it takes and how rewarding it can be. Not long after, I became a babysitter, then became a team leader at a youth program through my local recreational center. I also volunteered as a Vacation Bible School teacher. Currently I’ve spent the past four years working in ABA Therapy as a Registered Behavior Therapist providing care for children with special needs.

What I enjoy most about working with kids is building trust and finding meaningful ways to connect whether that’s through play, creativity, or simply showing up for them consistently. Every child is different, and I genuinely enjoy learning how to support each one in a way that fits who they are. More than anything, I love figuring out what makes them feel safe, seen, and happy and being someone they can count on.

I want to become an au pair because I truly love working with kids. They’re full of energy, imagination, and surprise, and it’s so rewarding to be part of their everyday growth. I’m also excited about the chance to experience life in a new culture, learn from it, and share a bit of my own along the way. My goal is to create a warm, fun, and supportive environment for the family I join, while also building real connections and making memories we’ll all cherish!
