As for the reason I became an au-pair, is that looking after home, garden, cooking is a lifestyle and a pleasure to me. I used to enjoy being an au pair in my student times in France and Italy and had a great experience. In one home I was in the mountains, and the calm of the village was truly enchanting, in another situation, I joined a family to look after a 11-year-old boy, but as I developed friendship with their grandma, she moved also in with all of us. My other work experience includes hotel receptionist and working as guest relations hostess in a hotel. Then I worked in the office and was a homemaker for a decade. In the end I had a lot of opportunities to practice what I love, meeting new people and learning languages. I love interactions with people senior to my age and always have friendships with people decades older to me. It might be because I am a rather conservative person in way of acting, in value system, though age is just I number I met also older people who seemed in their spirit far younger than me, haha!
