Dear potential host,
My name is Penny. I was born in Lombardy, Italy, and moved to England for my dad's work when I was eight years old. Since then, I've been living in England and finishing my studies. I'm an avid reader and writer, and love stories and languages. I've also always loved spending time with children. I have a younger brother and four younger cousins, all of whom I looked after growing up. I also have experience babysitting for several different families, for children ages 2 to 9. I love hanging out with kids and teaching them new things, as well as making time to learn about the things they enjoy and care about. When I was sixteen, I spent a week doing work experience at a primary school. There, I learnt how to communicate with children of all different ages, and I worked with several children who had learning difficulties, figuring out the best way to help them process information. In my free time, I tutor secondary school students online, mostly teaching them English Language and Literature. I would love to be able to transfer these skills onto new children, sharing my years of experience and my love for language.
