Carta a la familia

Dear Family,

My name is Gabriela, but everyone calls me Gaby.

I've worked as a yoga teacher (for kids and grown ups) I love the feeling of sharing a practice that has helped me become a better person. If you are interested I would definitely love to share this practice with you. :) I've also got a psychology degree and have worked with kids for 2 years and 1 and a half with teenagers.

I come from a Catholic family even tho I don't practice my religion I'm a spiritual person.

I believe in equality, kindness and respect.

I'm an open minded person and I'm also loyal to my values. I love learning from other cultures and sharing mine aswell. I try to take care of the planet as much as I can, that's why avoid using unnecessary plastic, wasting water among others.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work with them for a period of 1 year, this is because I'd really like to absorb the culture.

Experiencia con niños

I've worked with kids for about 4 years now; I've always loved taking care of kids and babies.

I've also worked with the kids of neighbors, family and some of my mother's friends.

I HAVE EXPERIENCE as an AuPair I've worked with a french family for three months. Which was an amazing experience. :)

I've volunteered abroad teaching basic english to South African kids and taking care of babies in a kinder garden; that has been the best experience of my life until now.
I believe that educating children with love and patience is the one of the most important things that will change the future of the world.

I have also helped my mom look after my little sister since she was born, that's why we share such a special bond, she's 16 now and we love spending time together.

I've worked as a school counselor for 1 year with teenagers from 15 to 19 years old.

I would love being an Au Pair abroad because I love traveling, meeting new people and cultures and what a better way of doing it by affording my experience with a job that I love.
