Arbeite als Au Pair im Ausland in Martins Familie für 8-12 Monate ab Sept. 2024 zur Betreuung von 4 Kindern von 1-5 Jahre & 6-10 Jahre in Elsbethen, Salzburg Österreich.

We have a farmhouse and we can offer you a small but beautiful room (15m2, south side with balcony). We have an own kids bathroom which is mainly not used by them, due to the ages of our children. By the way you also can join our indoor swimming pool (constantly running and heated) and sauna in your leisure time. By car we only need 5min to the next bus station, but we drive this route many times a day. We have two cars, one electric moped and one electric bicycle, where you can manage this route by yourself, just in case.

We are living in Elsbethen at the half way on mountain called "Gaisberg". The landscape is really beautiful. On the one hand you can join a more rural life, on the other side you might join the city of salzburg. Salzburg itself is very very popular concerning culture events (Mozart, Sound of Music, Salzburg Festival and many more). Salzburg is also very famous for the lakes and mountain around the main capital "salzburg" itself. If you want to see more of Europe it isn't a big jump to Munich (Germany), Vienna (Austria) or the northern part of Italy f.e. Venice.

We make a lot of trips with our kids and keep our farm running. We do a lot of outdoor activities like skiing and cycling. My person (Martin) is also a passionate runner. We love to join our holiday apartment in Carinthia at the beautiful lake "Wörthersee" in the summer. Carinthia is located to the border of Italy and might be a good starting point for your trips. In the winter we are go skiing in one of the many winter sport areas in salzburg. We also invite friends and family to our home to spend the time together.

Monday-Friday:
Wake up at 6:00 - 6:15 - Breakfast and leaving the home from 7:00 up to 8:00 o'clock. - Our children will be picked up with a bus service, almost in front of our house. Gudrun is staying at home and does many organizational things.
Lunch at 12:00-13:00 o'clock. Latest for the lunch you would help my wife.
Afternoon: Gudrun is doing some activities with the kids. With your help she might do some other things as well.
Evening: Dinner at 18:00 - 19:00 - afterwards starting bringing the children to bed.
Saturday & Sunday: Breakfast at approx. 7:00-8:00 - Doing some stuff at our farm, outdoor activities, spend our time together, cooking, go for a meal, meeting friends, etc.
Once a week a cleaning woman is coming and is helps us to keep our house clean.

Mainly we want that you can join the lunch and the afternoon with us and our kids. Show and learn them your mother tongue and your culture. Doing homework with the kids, make some cookies or playing outside for example. You can help my wife in some situations (easy household stuff) and f.e. once a month you might take care of our kids, that we can have a free evening for a dinner. Our both parents are living not far away from our farm (3 - 20min) and just in case they are always very helpful. Your kids love to stay there for a night.

We are no vegetarian, but it's not a problem if you are a vegetarian. We don't smoke. The aupair should be experienced with childcare, enjoy being around children, be patient and easy going.
We'd like to integrate you into our family, show you our way of life and also show you a little bit of Austria and our culture.
My wife and myself are always interested to learn more about different cultures, countries and cuisine. We already have seen some countries all over the world and that's the reason why we want to show our kids, that the world is bigger than Austria. :)
