Arbeite als Au Pair im Ausland in Carolines Familie für 4-12 Monate ab Feb. 2025 zur Betreuung von 2 Kindern von 1-5 Jahre in St. Martin, French Caribbean, Saint Barthélemy.

We are looking for a great big sister and friend to join our family. We hope you will fall in love with our kids and help them grow. Most importantly, we really want you to fit in and have some fun with us! You will be included in regular family dinners and get togethers. We expect to develop a relationship based on communication and trust.
We are looking for someone to help out mostly during the morning with the kids (play time and activities). Typically our current au pair works from 8am-1pm, 6 days a week (so that’s 30h per week) and has 1 day off, usually Saturday or Sunday.
Our schedule is flexible and we can work with your goals, like if you are doing online school.
There will be some light house work duties: doing dishes, keeping your space clean & cleaning up after the children during working hours, and light meal prep. We are trying to instill a love for healthy eating among our kids - we hope that you will be able to help us with this!
If you have a driving license and are comfortable driving on the island, it would help to be able to take the kids to their activities.
Sometimes my husband travels for work. When possible and if you want, we could all join him on his trips (mostly in the US).
Compensation offered is 350€ per month + extra 25€ for babysitting nights that we would prearrange with you.

Our au pair should not have allergies to dogs or mosquitoes! Living on an island also means living around with ants, bees, and insects like cockroaches.
Be aware that if you’ve always lived in big cities, you’ll miss spending time in museums and shopping centers. The perfect fit for our family is someone who likes to live slow and doesn’t mind spending lots of time outdoors.
We believe in gentle parenting, and consider love and respect of utmost importance when caring for children. We do not believe in shaming or punishing children and all discipline is carried out in a firm but kind manner.
