Dear future host!
My name is Birgit (Bibsi/Bixi) and I am currently 17 years old. In February 2024 I will celebrate my 18th birthday and shortly afterwards get to know and support you and your children as an au pair. I am currently a student of a higher education school for science and will graduate in June next year.
Besides of visiting a scientific school, I grew up with two different languages: German and French. Additionally to that, I had regular and additional (FCE) classes in English + a big impact from the media (movies, videos, books etc.). Learning Japanese is my next big project, that I will soon start.
Family is a big part of my live. I grew up around a big settlement and had many friends with younger siblings whom I used to play with. My family is rather small but I do have an eight year old cousin whom is very important to me. We stay in contact although it’s difficult to visit her due to her cancer treatment, but we text everyday. My grandmother once told me that I made live a bit brighter for her, which makes me incredibly happy.
I’m qualified to support your family because I lock people very quickly in my heart. Trust is key to fulfill the expectations of an au pair and I am ready to prove that I am the right choice for your family.
