Hello Future host Family

My name is Zenobia my family and Friends call me Nobie ,Nob, Nobia,Zee and Zae I'm 22 years old I'm from South Africa Johannesburg
My hobbies are cooking, baking, reading and spending time with my friends and family ,As well as volunteer work. I graduated high school in the year 2020 and went on to getting a diploma in teaching English as a foreign language. I have experience in CPR as well as a certificate,a certificate in cooking too!
I always knew I wanted to work with children because of how much joy and happiness it brings me . I’ve had other jobs but being a au pair / nanny has by far been my favorite.
I love interacting ,teaching and learning from them as well.
Being a Au pair helped me broaden my horizon. I became more independent and grew in my faith as well.I'm open to learning a lot of new things making new friends .
I took care of children from a very early age I did some babysitting to make extra money .I took care of Hayden Van Niekerk
since he was 2 years old and he is 6 years old this year we still spend a lot of time together. I took care of Brent Thomas
since he was a baby and he is now in Grade 7 I enjoyed every moment with my kids they bring out the best in me .
My family has taught me how to love and be loved to be compassionate understanding and humble . I was also a au pair for two years in Houston Texas ,I learnt a lot from my host family it also taught me a lot of patience and how to deal with kids who was raised differently from you . I learnt how to be more independent and not be afraid to set rules and boundaries and make sure my host kids follow them .I would like give my new host kids the same love and attention I received from my family
Life has a way of teaching us new things we just have to open our hearts and minds and grab every opportunity .
I would really love the opportunity's of becoming apart of your family , the kids wont lack any love or attention
they will be my first and only priority .

Betreuungserfahrungen

I wanted to become an Au Pair because I love kids it’s amazing to watch them learn, develop, and grow. I also wanted to have a new experience in my life, of living with another family meeting new people and new cultures. I remembered my first days in here, I was nervous, terrified because it was the first time in a new country with none of my family or my friends, but when I saw (my host family) at the airport, I just felt happy, relieved to have taken the step I was needing in my life. Thank you for accepting me trusting me, that first day, I felt so loved by everyone and happy in these two years that I have shared with them. I learned a lot from my Host Family. I learned to say, “I love you”, more, I learned to hug more, to give even more value to my family. Laugh at simple things, value small things. I also matured more and managed to see life differently. I also learned to grow in my faith and my religion as a Muslim. How my host children helped me with my creative side. Because they love to create things, paint, draw. My host mom is the most amazing woman I have ever known. I understand and respect more what it is to be a woman, I know how hard is raising kids with character and values, basically she is a mom, a scientist, a friend, a chef, a PE teacher, a driver, a doctor, psychologist most of the time, and she still has time to be a woman… she is a superhero! She showed me that your dreams are worthy always, but you need to push yourself far from your comfort zone; it doesn’t matter the background you have been raised you just need to believe in yourself and DO IT.

I love working with kids, I love travelling learning about new cultures.
Improving myself and growing meeting new people, teaching people about my
Culture in hope that a little bit of me rub off on them. Being an Au pair checks all the list.
