I am interested in being an Au pair for 4 reasons, which I will describe better throughout this text: I LOVE children, experience American culture, become fluent in English and discover things in myself that only an exchange program allows us to do. The first one, about children, I saw in Au Pair the perfect opportunity to unify all my other desires while being close to one of the things that does me the most good in life. Being around babies and children has always made me lighter, happier, made me have hope, made me see life more lightly, made me feel like a child again, in a fun and good way. I always realized, even more so after my brother was born, that I always had a certain maternal instinct, I always had the tact to be close to them, and being able to combine an exchange with that would be a gift for me. I really want to be remembered by them, even when they grew up, I want to mark their lives in a very positive and extremely magical way. The second reason, because I wanted to experience American culture, which I saw in films and series since I was a child, how magical it would be to have the opportunity to experience all of this, in a real way. The third reason is to have the opportunity to return with fluent English (today I have advanced English), as I know that this will open many doors for me, and I believe that fluency can only be achieved when we actually live with native speakers of the language. The fourth, but not least, is to rediscover myself. I think the exchange will make me notice things about myself that I wouldn't have the opportunity anywhere else. I think that there, I will rediscover myself, as I often enjoy my own company, as well as making me rediscover my independence. Only an Au pair would allow me to experience all of this in just one, incredible year.
