Dear Host Family,


Hello! First of all, I want to extend my gratitude on taking time by reading my letter and giving me a chance to make an impression. And also, on to why I want to be an au pair. My name's Fc, but you can call me Faith. I am 21 years old, a fresh graduate of Business Administration and I am from the Philippines. One thing about me is I am a yearner. I yearn to learn various knowledge, yearn to see the world, document life through the tiny lenses of my camera, I continuously yearn to make new memories along with my loved ones and new people. I love to have fun and enjoy life while still working well to have a fulfilling life. I have a lot of dreams and goals in life. One of those is having to work and be with kids even in just a short period of time. It's been a dream of mine to work with kids after graduating. Also, to work with animals, or pets is a dream, too.


Ever since before, I have always wanted to work with kids for a short period of time. It actually stressed me out for some time because I really wanted to work with kids after I graduate. But it would be difficult to achieve it here in the Philippines. so, after finding out about the au pair program, I believe that this is the perfect opportunity for me. I would like to be an au pair because I can do the things I love to do all at the same time. I would be able to see the world in a different country, learn a new language while interacting with the locals, explore the places that I want to see in person while also having to play with kids. It's like killing two birds in one stone. I would be doing the things I am passionate about all at the same time. It's really the perfect dream for me.


I am qualified to be an au pair and would be beneficial to the host family once they choose me. I believe some of what I will say are my advantages and can be a contribution to the family. I know my strengths, skills, capabilities, will, and passion. I am reliable, and I have a genuine love for children. I have knowledge and experience in childcare as I practically grow up with children my whole life. Also, I can use my hobbies to connect with the children. I can share them fun facts about things, read them stories, dance to the songs with them and we can also sing along their favorite songs together! But I might have to say my apologies because I am a bad singer. But I am a great listener, if you ever need someone to talk to, vent out, I can be a little sister or an older sister that will be here for you.
