Dear Host Family,
My name is Lilla, a 21-year-old university student, currently in my fourth semester. To be more accurate I study in the teacher training programme, my majors are English and German. As a result, in addition to my mother tongue, Hungarian I speak excellent English and my German skills are also very good. In both languages I possess a C1 (advanced) complex language certificate, which I would be happy to present to you, if required.

Below, I will share more details about my love for spending time with children and my experiences in this area. :)

My family and friends
Although I have only one sibling—a younger sister—I grew up in a large extended family, surrounded by cousins and even second cousins. Because of this, caring for others and solving problems has always been a natural part of my life. My two youngest cousins are both ten years old, so when babysitting is needed, it’s usually me or one of my other cousins who is recquested to look after them.

My education
As mentioned above I am in my 4th semester of the teacher training programme, at one of the most well-known universities of my country. There are two main reasons why I chose this department:

-- fist of all, I have always been thrilled to learn new languages, and, according to various feedback, I am quite good at it as well :) By the time I was 16, I have obtained my C1 English exam, with the speaking part being 100%. Less than two years later I improved my german knowledge to such a level, that I passed my C1 German exam, also with quite a favourable result.

--secondly I enjoy spending time with children a lot. Their energy and enthusiasm about the world give me a huge energyboost every time I am sorrounded by them, so I knew for sure, that I want to have a profession, in which I have the opportunity to be with them.


My experience with kids
As I mentioned I have plenty of experience with babysitting my younger cousins or the children of my older one. Besides, during high school, I worked as a volunteer in a kindergraten, which I was absolutely fond of. As part of my university education I regularly go out to schools, including primary schools, to hold lessons or make programmes for the children.
I have also been working as a private teacher for years, as a result I have given numerous classes to kids from the age of 8 onwards.

My language skills
