Dear Host Family,

thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope this is the start of something big!

My name is Pavlína, I am 23 years old (I will be 24 in April 2024). I am from the Czech Republic. I am living with my friends in Pilsen. My parents live with my older sister in another city. At the moment, I do work for travel company like an animator - taking care of the kids. And I used to be an au-pair in USA in 2023/2024.

In my spare time, I love to take care of children. During the summer I worked as the animator in Turkey and UAE where I took care of Czech and Slovak children. The children were between 4 and 15 years old. I have always enjoyed working with children. I am used to spending time with younger children. I looked after my cousin's children and I currently work as an au-pair for a Czech family, where I take care of a one-year-old boy.During my work, I gained a lot of experience with children. Every day is special and has a different focus. I have to admit that my previous work with children has also taught me a lot, for example patience, caution, calmness and responsibility.

What do I like to do? I also love to play volleyball. I have been playing volleyball since I was 11 years old. I love the Czech volleyball team. I like swimming, traveling and fitness. I like to be active. But I also like to play games, watch movies and spend time with my friends.

I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or do not want to listen to me.

In my opinion, I am good person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
