Hello! My name is Lucia, I’m 19 years old and I come from Italy.
I’m very passionate about other cultures and I really like working with children! I want to become an au pair because I want to live my life to the fullest, meeting new people, trying many new things and experiences. I would love to connect with a family that’s as enthusiastic as I am to host an au pair and establish a great relationship.
I believe I could make a positive impact in the family, I can not only care for the kids but also tutor them; I’ve been working as a tutor for three years (for elementary, middle school and high school students) in various subjects and I can speak English, Italian (native) and Spanish (native).
I also have experience babysitting kids (5-13 years old) , picking them from school, taking them to after school activities..
In addition to my childcare experience, I bring an extra dimension to the role – I am quite good in the kitchen. Cooking has been a personal hobby of mine, and I believe it could be a delightful and practical skill to share with your family! Sometimes I work as a personal cook for family friends and I would love to share my recipes with you!
As for my personality, I’m overall a calm, cheerful and positive person, I’m very responsible and take any tasks I’m given seriously, I respect boundaries. I really enjoy talking, being sociable and love being in company.
