Hello! My name is Riley. I am a 23 year old from the Midwest, USA. I enjoy spending my time with friends and family, being active, and trying new things! I want to become an Au Pair because I have always had a passion for taking care of children as well as learning more about France. Growing up, I would hear stories about my aunt's time in France as an Au Pair and it sounded so fascinating. When I was in 5th grade my family hosted two French boys that were my brother's age, meeting them was an experience I will never forget. As an 8th grader, I had the opportunity to host two girls my age, through my school. During the week of their stay, we created memories that I will cherish forever. I am still in contact with them, to this day!

Throughout the four years of high school I studied French and developed a comfortable amount of the language. When I went off to college, I continued to take French class for one more semester. Unfortunately, one semester is the highest level that my school could offer me. I feel comfortable speaking basic French and believe that I could learn more French, very easily. I can also help children with their English homework and skills. I am also qualified for an Au Pair position because I am first aid and CPR certified. I worked for five years as a lifeguard at a country club pool and feel very comfortable around water. I have always loved spending time and working with children, varying ages.

Becoming an Au Pair in France has always been one of my dreams, but I never really thought that I could make it happen. If I am welcomed into your home, I will offer your children my responsible care and fun-loving personality.
