Brief an die Gastfamilie
I found a sweet family until September 2026!!
Dear Future Host Family,
Hello!
My name is Akasya. I will be turning 18 in April, and I am Turkish-Russian, living in Turkey. I am currently in my senior year of high school and will be graduating in May. I hope to pursue a career in nursing through an Ausbilding/Dual Study program, but I am also considering a path in language teaching.
The opportunity to be an AuPair motivates me to achieve my goals, as I am confident it will help improve my social and language skills, provide valuable experiences before starting university, and create unforgettable memories.Thinking about the experience I will have while doing a job I love and have experience in makes me excited!
Let me tell you a little about my family. My mother is Russian and comes from a large family (12 siblings). She came to Turkey when she was my age, where she met my Turkish father, and the rest is history. My mother holds a Moldovan passport, which means I have dual citizenship and can stay in Europe for up to 3 months without a visa.
I have five siblings in total. I am the eldest girl, and our youngest is a boy who will soon be 3 years old. I would describe my family as warm and loving, with a strong bond of trust and honesty. We are always there to support each other. My mom taught me that family is a unit, and I grew up understanding the importance of responsibility in this context. For us, it’s not just about helping with tasks, but about working together and supporting one another. One of the most important routines in our family is sharing meals together and taking time each day to communicate and share about our day.
My mom is a psychologist, and my dad is a lawyer, so I’ve been fortunate to learn valuable life lessons from them.
Since I can remember, I’ve always taken care of my siblings and cousins, and I do so naturally and with joy. I volunteered at children’s camps in Moldova, where my grandparents live, which allowed me to gain more experience with children in various roles. One of my roles was cooking for volunteers, staff, and kids.
I can confidently say that I have a strong connection with babies and children, and I enjoy looking after their needs. In fact, this is one of the reasons I chose nursing or language teaching as a career path. Children hold a very special place in my heart, and I would be delighted to have another sibling!
I have many reasons for wanting to be an AuPair, and I am confident I will do a great job. What I am seeking in a host family is an open, safe, and supportive environment where everyone can grow, have fun, and share experiences—a true connection.
With my host family, I hope to share the love and joy I’ve experienced in my own warm and loving family.
Warm regards,
Akasya
