I am Cara J. Talley, I am 22 years old, I am from Augusta, Georgia, and I am eventually wanting to go to school to open up my own daycare, or become an occupational therapist, or social worker.

I have been passionate about being a nanny for as long as I knew what a nanny was. I have always adored the idea of loving, raising, and nurturing a child or family in a way that would be freeing for me and easy for the head of a household. I worked in a daycare for almost a year, and although I absolutely loved my babies, my team was unbearable, and my manager was highly unethical to her workers and the children. That really solidified things for me. I quickly saw her flaws in the establishment and knew what kind of environment I wanted to set in motion for such loving, and curious babies and children.

I think I should be hosted because I am trustworthy, firm, communicative, and flexible. I have been left alone with 32 children on my own within all ages and successfully entertained them and kept them safe. If I can flex between several age groups, no staffing, and successfully handle behavioral children with no actual folder of said behaviour, I fully believe I can take anything on.

I qualify for the position because I have been taking care of children for as long as I can remember, and did it with a burning passion and attentiveness I have yet to see matched unless it was by the child’s actual parent. I have felt a devotion and calling to this career for so long, and I am finally ready to commit to it.
