Hello, my name is Luisa, I am 22 years old, I come from Bogotá, Colombia, and I am a candidate for the Au Pair program in Germany. I am passionate about knowing that the Au Pair program is so complete that it offers me the opportunity to get to know a new culture and country with the satisfaction of contributing to the care of children and the possibility of feeling part of a family in this process, since it is a very necessary support for the process and not feeling alone. I know that Germany is a country that offers an excellent Au Pair and cultural exchange program, which is why it attracts my attention since it is a very rich country in culture, gastronomy, languages, and experiences. It is a place that offers us many opportunities as foreigners and is very welcoming to those who want a cultural exchange. My main reason is to learn the language and culture since I want to perfect my German. My second purpose is to understand and create a bond with children in order to contribute to their development and learning. At the same time, I want to establish myself and fit in with the family since I know that a solid foundation with the family will make my process much more stable and welcoming. During my year as an Au Pair I want to explore the country, learn more about its culture and family structure, I want to adapt to the German environment so that after being an Au Pair I can continue volunteering, continue contributing to the country and continue soaking up its culture. I want to grow as a person and professionally in its country and I would love to start my studies in early childhood care in my third year.
